If you don’t speak Russian, understanding the different ways to learn NeuroGraphica® can be challenging. Here’s a brief overview to help you navigate
Choosing a Certified Instructor
First and foremost, it’s important to learn from Certified NeuroGraphica® Instructors. These instructors have completed a rigorous nine-month training program directly through the Psychology of Creativity Institute and are the only individuals authorized to teach NeuroGraphica as developed by Professor Pavel Piskarev.
Two Types of Courses
NeuroGraphica courses fall into two categories:
Certification Courses – These are official courses created by the Psychology of Creativity Institute. Each course follows a specific curriculum and awards a Certificate of Completion.
Non-Certification Courses – These are independently developed by Certified Instructors based on their expertise and interests. They are not affiliated with the Psychology of Creativity Institute.
Certification Courses
Basic User Course – The First Step
If you are serious about using NeuroGraphica® as a self-coaching tool, the Basic User Course is where you should begin.
This course, designed by Professor Piskarev, is taught worldwide by Certified Instructors in many languages, primarily via Zoom.
In some locations, you may find in-person classes.
The curriculum is consistent across all instructors, ensuring that everyone receives the same foundational knowledge.
The Basic User Course is a prerequisite for all advanced-level courses.
You can find details about my version of this class under “Classes”.
Advanced Algorithm Courses – Expanding Your Knowledge
After completing the Basic User Course and earning your Certificate of Completion, you are eligible to enroll in any of the eight Advanced Algorithm Courses.
These courses are also taught by Certified Instructors and follow a standardized curriculum developed by the Psychology of Creativity Institute.
Most courses include:
8 hours of instruction
4-6 NeuroGraphica algorithms
Theory, homework, and testing
Many instructors offer these courses as recordings, though some may provide live instruction.
Choosing the right instructor is important, as teaching styles and support materials vary.
Non-Certification Courses
Many Certified NeuroGraphica Instructors also offer their own original courses based on their expertise and creative approach. These courses:
Are not part of the Psychology of Creativity Institute’s curriculum.
Vary significantly depending on the instructor’s focus and specialty.
May or may not require a Basic User Certificate of Completion as a prerequisite.
Are often taught live.
Learning from YouTube
YouTube is a great resource for exploring NeuroGraphica, but not all videos are created by Certified Instructors.
Pros: Many videos are available for free, making them an accessible introduction to the method.
Cons: Some content may not follow the authentic NeuroGraphica® framework.
Recommendation: Use YouTube to evaluate different instructors and find ones whose teaching style resonates with you.
By understanding these different learning paths, you can make an informed decision about how to study NeuroGraphica® in a way that best suits your goals!
